We like WordPress (WP) the best for several reasons. After trying each CMS, we feel it’s the best for what we do. Because we customize our Dentist website design so much, and we compile a great amount of custom functionality in our web development, it meets all of our requirements for a powerful blog management system for our clients.

Perhaps the most important item on this list is security. While it was mocked about ten years ago as being inferior in the realm of security, over the years the WP team has significantly increased how secure the platform is. With updates being rolled out very often to fight new forms of intrusions, WP has some of the best security you can find in a CMS.

Support Community

We love to boast how WordPress is the most popular platforms for bloggers. Chances are, you’ve had at least minor experience with WP. If not, it’s easy to get familiar with. We even offer a full library of WordPress training videos to each of our clients.

Moreso than it’s wide usage, the support community is phenomenal. It’s inevitable that things won’t work right, or you’ll want a custom functionality that’s never been done before. The support team is huge and always eager to help. Finding support for other content management systems is a bit harder because the communities are smaller. We’re not saying they don’t have good support, but we’ve personally experienced tremendous support from the WP forum moderators.

Extend-ability, Custom Themes & Custom Plugins

Plugins are little add-ons to WordPress that extend its functionality even more. WordPress features tens of thousands of plugins to fit any use. Need a scheduling application? We’ve got that. Need a calendar? We’ve got that. Need an email notification when someone fills out your contact form? We’ve got that too. There’s nothing we can’t do with WordPress because it’s so darn extendable!

Ease of Use

It’s incredibly easy to use! It was designed as a plug-n-play platform, but it’s catered to the most serious coders and programmers as well. If you want simple, WordPress can be simple. If you want complex, it can be complex.
